Meet Our Dogs
Every dog below is at the municipal shelter in Šabac right now. Volunteers spend time with each one daily – the profiles are personal, honest, and up to date. Visit the shelter to meet them in person, or come to a Pet Happening in Veliki Park.
Waiting the Longest
These dogs have been at the shelter the longest. They watch new arrivals come and go while they stay behind. Come visit them – maybe today is the day someone finally takes them home.
Flocke
Seven years. That’s how long Flocke has been waiting. A wonderful, small boy who gets along with everyone – dogs, people, the world. He just needs someone to finally take him home.
Floyd
A cheerful, active boy who lost one eye but not his spirit. Floyd walks beautifully on a leash, bonds deeply with people, and has more personality than most two-eyed dogs.
Pluto
Found sick on the streets, nursed back to health. Pluto walks beautifully on a leash, loves people and other dogs, and has the quietest, most loyal heart you’ll ever meet.

Bine
One of Maki’s puppies – open, friendly, and wonderfully active. Bine greets the world with a wagging tail and boundless enthusiasm.
Bolt
Friendly with people and dogs, walks well on a leash. Bolt is young, easy-going, and ready to be your best friend.
Cici
Good with dogs and people, active yet cuddly. Cici is the perfect balance of energy and warmth.
Coco
Strikingly beautiful, Coco needs time to build trust. She walks well on a leash and loves deeply once she feels safe. Best suited to someone with dog experience.
Debi
Grew up in an abandoned house before being rescued. Debi is sweet, friendly, and walks well on a leash – she’s ready for a real home.

One of Sindy’s puppies – active, friendly, and great with other dogs. A happy young boy ready for adventure.
Dog 67
One of Maki’s puppies – a big, shy boy who needs time and patience. In a calm environment, he slowly learns to trust and opens up beautifully.

Found pregnant at a gas station in the dead of winter. Despite her rough start, she’s friendly, active, and walks beautifully on a leash.

Hit by a car and left with kidney problems, she survived and found safety at the shelter. Calm, gentle, and great with other dogs.

Rescued as a puppy from the streets after nearly being kicked. Larissa is nervous around people but great with dogs. She needs patience, time, and someone who won’t give up on her.
Luna
A shy young girl who watches from a distance before daring to come closer. With patience and a calm home, Luna warms up beautifully.
